Phillies 2008 National League Champs
Congratulations to our Philadelphia Phillies for winning the 2008 National League Championship. The are headed to the World Series and will face either the Red Sox or the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays have a 3 games to 1 lead over the Sox, so it looks like the Phillies will be meeting the Rays in the World Series. This is one the for time I will have seen the Phillies in the World Series. I can remember when the won it n 1980. Wow!! I really feel we can win 4 more games. Think about it. Cole Hamels will likely pitch 3 times and he is a monster. That combined with Brad Lidge closing the deal we are almost sure to have a parade!!!!
