Hopefully the Phillies can follow the route of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles demolished the New York Giants, 40-17 Sunday afternoon, improving to 5-2 and remaining in a first-place tie with the Dallas Cowboys.
The game was never close as the Eagles got a 41-tard touchdown run from Leonard Weaver less-than two minutes into the game and never looked back.
Donovan McNabb had a huge day, tossing three touchdown passes , one each to Brent Celek , DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy. The defense was sensational, intercepting Eli Manning twice and turning the game into a laugher at halftime.
The Eagles will face the Cowboys next week in a game that could go a long way in determining how the NFC East shakes out.
Part one of Philly-New York Sunday went perfectly for the home-town boys.
Now we need the nightcap to end the same.

I have to say I was shocked not so much that the Eagles won the game as anything can happen, but that they simply whipped the Giants. Here’s hoping the Phillies follow.

What is even more rediculous King is that it seems like the only time Andy runs the ball is when Westbrook isn’t playing.
Let’s pound the rock this week and pound the Cowboys!
